NORIO TAKAOKA

Norio was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1950. He went on to study Art at the KANAZAWA University of Art and Polytechnics located in Kanazawa-city, Ishikawa-Prefecture, Japan in 1976. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Norio traveled to Europe, Mexico, and the United States. In 1992, he was selected as an Overseas Research Artist by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and sent to Italy. In 1994, he was honored with the NAKAHARA TEIJIROU Memorial Superior Prize.
